It’s always a special feeling when a traveler walks in right off the street, holding a real, printed book in their hands instead of a smartphone screen.
That’s exactly how we occasionally find out about something we are incredibly proud of — being included in international travel guides! One such wonderful discovery is the Pétaouchnok Travel Guide to Slovenia, published in French.
A guest showed us this guide, and on page 98, we found a beautiful recommendation for Hostel Kobarid. Here is what the authors wrote about us:
“This large house from 1880, located in the heart of Kobarid, has more than one advantage: its dormitory beds have small curtains for extra privacy; its exposed stone kitchen exudes cleanliness: there is a barbecue in the garden and Netflix for rainy evenings. Nothing but good vibes!”
The guide even includes a QR code leading to an online map, allowing readers to jump straight to our website for direct bookings.
We want to say a huge thank you to the creators of the Pétaouchnok guide and to every guest who brings these books to our doorstep. It is a true honor for us to see our 1880 house recognized for its soul and good vibes!
