Road situation
As of August 5th, we would like to inform you about the current road conditions and transportation options in the region.
Currently, there is a single road closure on the Tolmin – Idrija route at Dolenja Trebuša. However, most other roads are open and operational, some with single alternate lane traffic to facilitate smooth movement.
For alternative routes, we suggest considering the path via Nova Gorica, Italy (Cividale del Friuli), Bovec, and Kranjska Gora (Vršič pass). This route might provide a suitable option for your journey.

Public transport
While train services are currently unavailable on August 5th, buses are accessible through Nova Gorica or Kranjska Gora, Bovec, offering alternative transportation options. Check the schedule for the buses: nomago.si.
