Slovenia border crossing

Entry from the areas on the green list

A person arriving from an area on the green list may enter Slovenia without being ordered to quarantine. Upon entry they must provide proof of having resided in an area on the green list for at least five consecutive days prior to entry. TIf they are not able to provide relevant proof, they are considered to have come from an area on the dark red list.

The green list of countries 
EU member states/Schengen Area countries:

  • Finland
  • France (only individual administrative units): administrative unit of Corsica and overseas territories of Martinique and Mayotte

  • Croatia (only individual administrative units): administrative unit of Pannonian Croatia
  • Italy (only individual administrative units): administrative units of Piedmont, Liguria, Lombardy, Abruzzo, Molise, Apulia, Sardinia, Autonomous Province of Bolzano, Autonomous Province of Trento, Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, Umbria, Marche and Lazio

Entry from the areas on the orange list of countries

A person arriving from an area on the orange list may enter Slovenia without being ordered to quarantine at home, if they provide a negative PCR or rapid antigen test, a certificate of recovery, a certificate of vaccination or a certificate confirming that they have recovered and have been vaccinated.

All countries that are not explicitly listed on the green, red and dark red lists are classified as orange.

Entry from an area on the red list

A person arriving from an area on the red list is required to present a PCR test upon entering Slovenia (there is no possibility to submit a rapid antigen test). After they enter Slovenia, they must quarantine at home for 10 days.

The person will not be required to provide a PCR test and quarantine at home if they present a certificate of vaccination, a certificate of recovery or a certificate confirming that they have recovered and have been vaccinated.

Red list of countries
